The Materials Testing Integrity Project (MTIP) is an initiative to implement improvements that strengthen the technical assurance of laboratories undertaking construction material testing on Transport projects.

The project was established by NSW Government to address instances of non-compliant practices occurring in construction material testing laboratories which had the potential to negatively impact assessment durability and ultimately the safe operation and quality of the road network.

This programme has opportunities for metadata and quality compliance.
