These Membership Terms & Conditions apply to all Individual and Corporate Members of Construction Quality Australia Ltd. In these Terms, “CQA”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Construction Quality Australia Ltd.
By applying for, renewing or maintaining membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Purpose of Membership
CQA membership is designed to:

Support the advancement of construction quality in Australia

Provide access to knowledge, training and resources

Enable collaboration across industry stakeholders
Membership does not create an employment, agency or partnership relationship with CQA.
Membership Categories
CQA offers various membership categories, including but not limited to:

Individual General Membership

Individual Professional Membership
-
Corporate Membership
Each category includes specific eligibility criteria and benefits.
Eligibility
Members must:

Provide accurate and truthful information

Meet the eligibility requirements for their selected membership type

Maintain professional conduct consistent with CQA values
CQA reserves the right to:

Approve or decline applications at its discretion

Request additional information

Reclassify membership categories where appropriate
Membership Fees

Membership fees are payable annually unless otherwise stated

Fees must be paid in full prior to activation

Membership is valid for the stated membership period

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
CQA reserves the right to amend membership fees at any time.

Member Conduct
Members agree to:

Not use CQA branding without written consent
CQA may suspend or terminate membership if conduct is inconsistent with CQA’s objectives or reputation.
Intellectual Property
All CQA resources, including templates, research, lessons learnt and publications:

Remain the intellectual property of CQA

May not be redistributed or reproduced without permission

Are provided for internal organisational use only
Termination
CQA may suspend or terminate membership where:

Fees remain unpaid
-
False information was provided
-
Terms are breached
-
Conduct damages the reputation of CQA
Members may resign by written notice; however, fees are not refundable.
Limitation of Liability
CQA does not guarantee:

Business outcomes
-
Recruitment success
-
Financial improvement
-
Specific performance improvements
Membership provides access to information and collaboration only.
Changes to Terms
CQA may amend these Terms at any time. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
